You can add some grid lines, so you can better oriënt while you are watching the fractal.
The distance d between the lines are always 1, 2 or 5 time 10 to the power n. 
The coördinations are always m times d (distance).
The distance d between the circles are always 1, 2 or 5 time 10 to the power n. 
The radius are always m times d (distance).
The whole circle is always divided via beams in m parts, where m is 1, 2 or 5 time 10 to the power n (n out of 0 of more).
For every kind of line, the are main and sub lines. Main lines has more dintance between each other than sub lines. 
The distance between sub lines are 4 or 5 times smaller than main lines, in the same situation.

First get into the Add Point Mode. Press  or choose in the menu:Mode | Add Points.

After getting in Adding Points Mode, you can add points by simply clicking on the factal.

By "Walking" to Next points, every complex value of each point are put into the fomula of the fractal and the result is the "next" point.
To get "next" points of each existing point: Press  or choose in the menu:Fractal | Add Next Points.

You can repeat tracing/walking points.
To remove all points (and lines): Press  or choose in the menu:Fractal | Remove Points.

When the cursor moves over the fractal, some information of the point where the cursor points to is displayed in de statusbar of the FracThunder, at the bottom of the main window.
